Recipes: Tamater ki Chutney-Tomato sauce

2 pounds of ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 teaspoon whole cumin
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cooking oil

Heat oil in a saucepan and add whole cumin. When cumin starts to sizzle, add chopped onions, all spices and green onions. Fry them for a couple of minutes on medium heat. Add tomatoes and let the mixture cook for about 10-15 minutes. When tomatoes will turn saucy, remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve warm with any main entrée.
