Asparagus and Mushroom Saute

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon whole cumin
3 whole red chilis, dried
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 bunch fresh asparagus, chopped
½ teaspoon turmeric, ground
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons warm water

Heat oil in a pan, add whole cumin and red chilis, let them sizzle for a minute or so. Add mushrooms and asparagus. Saute the mixture for five minutes or so on medium heat. Add all ground spices, mix well. Add warm water and leave the mixture to cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes or so. Serve as a side dish.
